Adrienne is truly an exceptional midwife and care provider. She was my midwife for both my babies (birth center & home birth), and went above and beyond both times. Adrienne is extremely knowledgeable, and I trust her opinion 100%, and this is coming from an east coaster who trusts hardly anyone, ever. She was an awesome midwife for my prenatal visits, always being mentally present and asking how i was doing, both physically and emotionally which I really appreciated. She is also an awesome resource for holistic health questions. During the birth, both Adrienne and Adrianna were there right away to support me. Whenever anyone asks, "how did you do it? (Give birth at home without drugs) I say "I had an awesome team". Honestly, if it was anyone else there I'm not sure I would have been able to do it. But, both of them were fantastic. They were encouraging, offered effective techniques and validated my efforts and feelings. I don't think I could have had a better midwife or midwife's assistant. I most definitely recommend them!!
When I was searching for a midwife for my first child and I didn't feel like there were enough reviews to make a decision. Luckily, I have a friend who was taking Adrianna's Sweet Pea Birthing classes and we joined. Her class was amazing and she gave me info on a few midwives that she recommended. I met with a couple of them when I was 30 weeks along. I liked all the midwives I met but I loved Adrienne! She was so knowledgeable, calm, and sweet and made me feel comfortable making the switch from my OBGYN. She spent SO much more time with me than my doctor did. She even asked about my husband's well being before and after the birth. We had the birth at home and I felt so spoiled and taken care of! I felt so safe with Adrienne and Adrianna. They both got me mentally prepared for the big day. I was excited to meet my baby and I loved that they were excited too! There was a couple moments where my baby's heart rate dropped while pushing and they put me on oxygen and handled it very professionally. The postpartum care and visits were amazing. I'm positive I wouldn't have been successfully breastfed without her assistance (I did not learn as much as I should have beforehand). As brand new parents we called her at 3 in the morning our first night alone and asked about his irregular breathing (he sound like a toad). She reassured us that it was normal. I got sick during pregnancy and I had mastitis two weeks postpartum, Adrianna assisted me over the phone and via text on LOTS of ways to take care of myself throughout both situations. I even texted her a few months postpartum thinking I had mastitis again but she reassured me that it was a clogged duct and instructed me on what to do. I would have been so miserable without her! This is usually the part in the review when I discuss the cons... but I honestly can't think of anything. Before my birth, I thought it was expensive, but now my husband and I both agree that it was worth every penny! I will recommend Wasatch Midwifery & Wellness forever and ever. And I'm relieved/excited that they will be the pros caring for me and my future babies.
I cannot recommend these wonderful ladies enough. Adrienne delivered our first baby girl, and then two years later our son at our home and it was such an incredibly supportive experience each time. Not only is Adrienne so warm, I also felt like she really understood us and catered her care to our personal style. Because she is also so professional and incredibly experienced my husband and I were able to focus on one another and then the baby during and after each labor knowing that Adrienne was taking care of everything and that we were in such capable hands. We had the pleasure of taking a Bradley Method Birth class from Adrianna and she, also is sooo experienced and full of wonderful knowledge. At our birth she oohd and ahhed over my baby while serving me drinks and making me feel like a goddess. Every time we saw Erica, the office manager, was a joy - I really felt like she was excited each time we came in to see our progress and champion our experience. These women together created a pregnancy experience each time that fostered trust, understanding and deeply personal and beautiful births. Also, a word on the birth center - even though I love having my babies at home, Wasatch Midwifery's new incredible center almost makes me want to have a birth right there in the clinic. I seriously obsess over the art on the walls, the furnishings, and that view! Your photographer will love you forever because it looks so beautiful. Everything about Wasatch Midwifery and Wellness is thoughtful, from the care from the staff, to spa-like center to the totally customized help before, during and after pregnancy (including insurance!!) We will be back with our next pregnancy and in the meantime tell everyone I can get my hands on to go there too.
Adrienne was my midwife for the birth of all three of my children. The first birth was in a birth center and the last two were at home. I've always felt lucky to have found her. I remember with my first child when I was in labor being grateful for how supportive, encouraging, and calming she was while I was experiencing this for the first time. She was the same for my last two births as well. The attention and care she provides is both professional, personal and very friendly. I appreciate how knowledgeable she is of course in regards to pregnancy, childbirth, post partum, and women's health, but also in holistic care and wellness. I felt she was honest and she believes in me and my body's abilities which meant a lot to me. Adrianna was my birth instructor for my first pregnancy. Between these two women there really is such a wealth of knowledge. When I was pregnant with my third I learned Adrienne was opening her own birth center, Adrianna was going with her and to me the choice was obviously to follow this serious dream team! The only thing I'm sad about is that I was done having babies before the beautiful new birth center was finished! I found Adrienne and Adrianna due to the recommendation of a friend and I would and have wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.
These two women are heaven on earth. They offer the best care you could ever imagine. As a doula, I have worked with them numerous times, and each time has been absolute magic. They are so fun, kind, smart and capable. They are very knowledgeable and confident, and it comes through to their clients. I highly recommend them to everyone who is seeking the birth of your dreams. They really do make dreams come true. I adore them and so will you!

Adrienne and Adrianna have been an absolute dream team to work with for the birth of our first baby. Their knowledge and expertise makes them a power house of information that helped my pregnancy, birth and PP go as smoothly as possible and become one of the most beautiful experiences of my life so far. My home birth went completely ideal and I never questioned mine or my baby's safety because I knew these ladies were capable of spotting any issue, handling it or knowing when a transfer would be necessary. They accommodated my wishes and the whole event went so perfectly smooth. They helped me to trust my body, a huge, priceless gift to impart on me. They are heroes to me, nothing but love and admiration for them both.

If only there were more stars - 10! Our experience with Adrienne and Adrianna from start to finish far exceeded our expectations. We felt educated, supported, and most of all cared for. Highly recommend this team and facility. Thrilled and honored that we have this kind of professional, attentive practice available here in Utah. Can’t wait for the next child!
"Excellent" is undoubtedly the first and best word that comes to my mind when I think about both of these practitioners. I worked closely with Adrienne and Adrianna for two years, and have seen their expertise, their skill, and gentleness over and over again. And as for Adrianna, she is one of the finest birth assistants, childbirth educators, and all-around person that I have ever worked with. She is an invaluable asset to our community, and any family would be extraordinarily lucky to have her as part of their birth team. She has been a childbirth educator for 20 years, and has attended hundreds of births: she knows her stuff, and she is amazing with families.
Highly, highly recommend this practice. Our homebirth community is so much the better for having these amazing women at their service.
When I was pregnant with my first child in 2016, I knew I wanted to work with a midwife. I found Adrienne and her assistant Adrianna, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with them. Adrienne is so knowledgeable about everything pregnancy and birth related, I felt like I was in expert hands at all times. She always had great suggestions for various pregnancy ailments like heartburn, headaches, and fatigue. She shared great info about what nutritious foods to eat throughout pregnancy. She was always quick to reply to my texts or calls, and I felt like I could ask her anything. I had planned a homebirth, and had a very long (40+ hours) labor. Adrienne and Adriana were there throughout, offering suggestions and helping me as I labored. After about 36 hours, we made the decision to transfer to the hospital so I could get an epidural and sleep for a few hours, with the hope that I’d be able to birth my baby vaginally in the hospital. Eventually I ended up needing a c-section, and Adrienne continued to be there for me. She checked in with me daily after my c-section, and even came into the hospital to spend over an hour with me and my family, talking over my birth experience. In the year since my baby was born, Adrienne is still there when have questions about newborn care, nutrition, or anything related to my own health. I hope to have another baby, and I already know that I will be hiring Adrienne and the Wasatch Midwifery team for my birth. I am a birth doula, so I am very familiar with all things birth related. I know a good provider when I see one, and Adrienne is one of the best midwives I’ve known
Adrienne is hands down the BEST midwife I have ever met!!! I have seen her do some amazing things and have witnessed her bring many babies into the world, including my own. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!
"Thank you for your kindness and dedicated care over the past year. Your support and knowledge is appreciated very much. It has been so reassuring to know that you were available any time of the day for questions or concerns. You will never know how much of a positive influence you have had on our little family. Thank you again!!"
I love Adrienne and Adrianna. My birth story didn't end well because of an unknown serious deformity, but they were there for me and my family every step of the way. They are absolutely the best. If i get the choice, I would go to them again. I can't recommend them enough.
High quality service. Adrienne and Adrianna helped so much!
What a beautiful office and amazing staff! This place is top notch and the staff is phenomenal! I've not been lucky enough to have a baby with this staff but I did have the pleasure of working side by side with both Adrianna and Adrienne. What an amazing duo! Any woman would be so lucky to have this team at their side during such an important moment of their life. Adrienne taught me the beauty of home and birth center birth. She taught me the patience, skill, knowledge, compassion and sheer love of natural birth! When I was scared to death, she was a rock and a consoling presence. Adrianna was my right hand when I was but a baby midwife. She is amazing! Because of the two of you, I am who I am today. I can tell you that I get compliments all the time on my patient care, skills and compassion. I owe it to the two of you. Thank you my friends and my mentors for the gifts you've given me in showing me how amazing a woman's body can be! Congratulations to you both and the rest of your devoted and skilled staff on the new office.
I had Adrienne as a midwife during my pregnancy and she attended the birth of my third baby at home. I loved the practical and evidence/research-base information and care I received from her. She is calm, confident, and patient. She listened when we told her when our baby was coming fast and she was there in a jiff and helped with final set-up. Afterwards she instructed family to action, to help make me and babe comfortable. Food was made, tub carried away and babe in arms, I hardly noticed any of it except for the babe and food! My husband and I took Adrianna's Bradley Birth classes 10 years ago. The classes gave us a well rounded perspective on birth but reaffirmed our wish for a natural birth. She also gave us info on other topics that we had not even considered, such as breastfeeding (duh, why didn't I think of that), vaccines, nutrition, circumcision, stretching, and what if your birth plan has to change. We went in with our eyes open and we were mentally and physically prepared. I used the info for all 3 of my births, 2 in the water at a birth center, and 1 in the water at home! I wish I had the pleasure to have Adrianna at one of my births, but the timing never worked out. No doubt these two make a dynamic and capable team, bursting at the seams with knowledge, caring, and respect for their clients.
Adrienne was my midwife in 2015. We came from another part of the planet to have our boy in SLC and I think it was the best decision ever because we met Adrienne. I like this new center so much that I want another baby!
Adrienne made me feel unstoppable, she is the BEST. If you want to feel the most incredible support, Adrienne is for you. We had a beautiful birth at home. My son had breathing issues and had to go to the NICU. Adrienne personally drove me in the middle of the night, comforted me and my husband. During our following weeks of care, I had to go to the ER and Adrienne came to hold my son while I was being checked out and on IVs. You cannot find a more caring, understanding, and supportive midwife. Any future children of mine, I will have the honor of having Adrienne as my midwife.
I just had my 3rd birth experience with Adrienne but this was the first time in her new facility. Each birth has been as unique as it has been wonderful. Adrienne’s expertise, patience, and friendship throughout each of my pregnancies set the stage for a positive birth each time. Her new space is beautiful and relaxing. Would highly recommend!!!
"There aren't enough thank yous in the world to thank you for all you've done for me and our family! You have given me a completely new and awesome appreciation for my strength and what my body is capable of. And you helped 3 of my babies to come into this world. What an amazing gift you have. Thank you for sharing your beautiful soul with me. Although I'm definitely done having kids, I hope to still pop in and see you. And we'll always have social media!"
I had the pleasure of being present as a doula at a homebirth attended by Adrienne and Adrianna last night. These two women amazed me. Adrienne was patient and kind, giving mom plenty of time to dilate and offering options instead of giving orders. She also didn't hesitate to explain what was happening in a way that was respectful of the mother's privacy, but also comforting, to the nervous family members who were there observing. Arianna was calm and quick in a balance that is uncanny. She perfectly switched between roles as assistant, doula, and friend. When Adrienne had a need Adrianna responded with such alacrity it's like she was reading minds. The pure physical strength and endurance she exhibited was inspiring. One other thing I really loved seeing was the way they balanced their belief that women can and do give birth safely without intervention and their knowledge of when to use necessary and needed medical intervention. It is such a delicate balance and their approach is beyond reproach. These women as a team are a blessing to any family who chooses to hire them. They complement each other in the most beautiful way. I learned things during this birth that will make me a better doula. I couldn't have been more lucky to witness this team in action. Also, the baby born last night to a first time mom in the comfort and safety of her own home was 11lbs 8oz. Amazing mom. Amazing dad. Amazing midwife team.
Between 2013 and 2016, I was a birth assistant at almost 100 births with Adrienne Brown. This review is long in coming, but only sincere. Each month, when prepping staff for our upcoming births, Adrienne would say, after going through health details, not realizing she had just said it about the woman before, "She is going to do great." And we would all smile. For 100% of her clients, she truly had faith for *their* birth and I believe that influenced everyone--perhaps her most of all. I had a lot to learn and was walking into those life and death situations at all hours with her and she was only ever patient, calm and in control. Her uncanny ability was to be internally ready for potential harrowing medical emergencies, while her exterior only exuded to the room her calmness, putting moms at ease to do the work they had to do. When we did face maternal and infant emergencies, I never once was panicked or frightened. She knows her stuff and how to execute it and her teams and her families were better for it. You can rest assured this midwife pushes no unhealthy limits with out of hospital birth and holds herself to solid protocols. Lastly, I watched this midwife give all but her right arm for clients she barely knew and if they'd asked, she probably would have. In days and nights with no sleep I saw her press on and work even harder than the rest of us. I watched her leave any personal problems or conflict outside of the birth center or home as she prioritized her clients' birth spaces and her team. I saw her welcome clients with their babies into her home after discharge because they didn't have a proper place to recover in. I saw her sacrifice her health and personal life. I saw her smile at every woman--no matter their background-- in the throes of labor and say, "You can." and they did--partly for her. Although as human as you and me and not without her own flaws, because of these qualities, Adrienne inspired the best in her team and clients and that leadership is priceless. May she and Wasatch Midwifery and Wellness be blessed for her hard work which she is clearly made for.
You will not find better prenatal, birth and postpartum care. Adrienne is all about caring for your well being during pregnancy. She helped me get my 3 year old son to sleep when I had a newborn to care for. She also helped us through jaundice with my 37 weeker. She addressed any and all concerns, you are always free to ask as many questions and are never rushed or on a time limit. Adrianna is amazing, and so knowledgeable, caring and calming. She was the birth assistant when I delivered my son and she was perfect. I will never forget these two women and the power they gave me during my delivery.
I appreciate so much the competent, encompassing care I received from Adrienne and Adrianna when I had my third child. I felt like my care was personal to me and my baby, yet I found so much strength in their expertise and years of wisdom.
I have worked with Adrienne and Adrianna - they are both wonderful! Both are very bright and dedicated to serving families in their childbearing year.
Adrienne has cared for me through two pregnancies and deliveries, and there are no words to express how great she is. She has a wealth of knowledge of both holistic wellness and midwifery. She is professional but also personable-- I love how I can talk with her like a friend. My birth experiences with her were awesome. Highly recommended.
Adrienne attended the birth of my son as a doula and assistant to my midwife 7 years ago. She is not only extremely skilled as a midwife, but she also has a keen intuition which cannot be taught. She springs into action at a moment's notice with a clear head and strong hands. Yet, she knows when to back up and guide the birth partner. During my son's birth she was able to connect with what I needed to help me through the labor. During my pregnancy she also provided me with valuable information regarding nutrition and wellness during pregnancy. She also suggested helpful books for me to read to prepare. Her support in the postpartum period was unmatched and allowed me to establish a very healthy nursing relationship with my son. She is a talented provider and I felt very privileged to receive her care.
I haven't had the opportunity to experience these ladies as my baby deliverers (wish I had and could), but Adrianna was/is my declared baby birthing god-momma. I met her by way of her Bradley Method classes back in 2013. She was there for me on the phone at 3am/4am in the midst of labor at 42 weeks and 1 day. She was the ONLY one that believed in my body and my unborn son at the time. Everyone and I mean everyone was against me waiting so long to deliver, but Adrianna was tried and true thru and thru! And without a handful of pep-talks during weeks 41 and 42, I know I would not have had the child labor and birth I desired. But because of Adrianna I did! And then with baby number two and me over 2000 miles away from Adrianna, she was still the one I called for support right in the middle of the contraction that broke my water. And like a pro, she never missed a beat with her encouraging words. I love Adrianna and could only ever dream of having her as my midwife to delivery my babies. If I ever move back to Utah and get pregnant there, she will be my only choice!
I trust Adrienne without question in matters of health and birth. I have had the fortunate chance to both birth and assist alongside Adrienne for 4 years. Her knowledge, work ethic, skill, judgement and bedside manner are unmatched. It is difficult to only call her my midwife or colleague because she feels like a friend. That goes a long way when you're in need of an advocate for yourself or your child. I would recommend her care for women looking to have an incredible and life changing experience.
I met Adrienne and Adrianna through the Birth Center. Most of my prenatal visits were with another midwife and I hadn't really had much interaction with either until the day I gave birth. Even though I didn't interact with them a lot, I can honestly say that Adrienne and Adrianna were fantastic to work with! Overall, my birth went well. However, when my son was born, he had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. Of course, being that this is my first child, I was freaking out. Adrienne and Adrianna provided us with such a supportive experience that I trusted Adrienne and Adrianna's expertise and knowledge to make the right call when it came to my son. I would not hesitate to go to them again, I cannot recommend these wonderful ladies enough.
My experience with Adrienne and Adrianna was nothing short of incredible! Adrienne delivered my first baby at another birthing center and she was so amazing that I had to follow her to her new practice for my second. She gives so much time and attention to her clients from the very beginning and genuinely cares about you and your family...and by the end of your experience with these ladies they feel like family! I can't imagine giving birth any other way and with these women on my side.
Both Adrienne and Adrianna were at my birth of my first/only daughter which went incredibly well and I really felt I could completely relax in their care! They are both amazingly talented and very knowledgeable on the business of birth! Adrienne also was so helpful when breastfeeding wasn't going as I hoped she gave me confidence and suggestions that made breastfeeding enjoyable. I recommend them 100%!!
I love this A team! They are knowledgeable, caring, prompt, funny, and relatable. I owe them my whole heart, as they helped deliver my whole world. The perspective they have on birth is unlike any other, only comparable to Inna May Gaskin. These two are heros.
Adrienne delivered both of our wonderful babies and made me feel so capable and confident all through our pregnancy. Such a gift for tender, loving care. I'm in awe of this woman!
Adrienne and Adrianna have been an absolute dream team to work with for the birth of our first baby. Their knowledge and expertise makes them a power house of information that helped my pregnancy, birth and PP go as smooth as possible and become one of the most beautiful experiences of my life so far. Adrienne has brought me so much peace throughout my journey, something that is priceless to me as stress has always been a personal enemy of mine. Every visit, she would melt away any issues I might of had and offered real solutions to handle many of the pesky aspects of bringing a child into the world. She's also very personable so it's like working with a really good friend. I took Adrianna's Bradley Method class as well so I know what knowledge this woman packs away in her amazing birthy mind, she would be a huge asset to have as part of your birth team. She is also very fun to work with and has brought so much laughter into my pregnancy. You will be in the absolute best hands with these incredible women. They are heroes to me, nothing but love and admiration for them both. I will be sad when my PP visits end, that's how great these gals are to work with. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Adrienne drove through a blizzard to make sure I had my VBAC. She is one of the best midwives I know..and I know a lot. Her safe, competent care and professional demeanor set her apart from other service providers. I never felt that she didn't have my best interests at heart. You couldn't do better than having her and Adrianna at your birth.
Adrienne is AMAZING! She is incredible at creating a welcome space for women, pregnant or not! The standard of care I received during my pregnancy and in the friendship that followed has been awesome! And Adrianna truly is a people person. She makes everyone feel welcome and loved. She's been in this birthy world for years & was a great teacher, birth assistant and friend throughout my pregnancy with my son ❤️
Adrienne and Adrianna are great. I got them as a team when I had my 3rd baby, and Adrienne was my midwife for my 2nd. So professional and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend them!
Adrienne is wonderful! I've never felt rushed in her appointments, relaxed, easy going and empowers women. As a Doula I've met a number of different providers and Adrienne is definitely one of the best☺
I had these two amazing ladies at the birth of my daughter. I have moved out of state and wish I could hire them to come to North Carolina. You will have a wonderful experience of these two are present for your births and guide you through pregnancy! Full of knowledge and great people too!

Adrienne is one of the most amazing midwives I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Not only is she professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable .. She is passionate and dedicated to providing the best care possible to her clients. She has a work ethic like no other and anyone would be blessed to have her as their midwife. You don't have to look any further ... Adrienne is the best midwife you will find.
Adrienne and Adrianna are absolutely the best! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have an incredible birth experience.
These two incredible people were there to take care of me and my beautiful baby when I had a home birth. I can't imagine a better team to help bring a baby into the world. Their expertise and gentle care were more than I could have hoped for when I gave birth.
Adrienne is amazing. I cannot be more grateful for all of her knowledge, excitement and kindness she has showed me over the last several years. She was the first midwife we had ever met! Her expertise in all things birth, during my pregnancy in 2015, put me at ease and I knew I had chosen the right woman for the job. My family adores Adrienne and her talented team she's built at WM&W.

Adrienne and the entire staff at Wasatch Midwifery & Wellness are kind, compassionate, intuitive and excel at all things related to women's health, newborn care, and midwifery. Adrienne attended the birth of my son and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, professional and compassionate birth team I would highly recommend giving Wasatch Midwifery & Wellness a call.

Adrianna is amazing, and so knowledgeable, caring and calming. She was the birth assistant when I delivered my son exactly 2 years ago and she was perfect. Plus she is an EXPERT at providing breastfeeding help! Erica is the bomb, too!!! I will never forget these women and the power they gave me during my delivery.
The facility is gorgeous, like home but with the most amazing birthing tubs, private rooms and beautiful mountain views. This will always be my first recommendation to any pregnant mom in the area!
